After the news and protests over the last few days, I feel like anything I say will be wrong, and saying nothing is wrong as well.
I find it worrying that there’s now the idea going around that if you don’t march FOR a thing, you must therefore be AGAINST it. Is it just me who thinks that’s overly simplistic?
I’ve never been on a protest march in my life. I’m never likely too either. That doesn’t mean I don’t have convictions, I do, but I don’t do marches. What I do do is respect the right of others to have a different position.
Happy to debate different points of view, but Social Media isn’t about debate, it’s soapboxing and trolling. Whatever you say you get blasted, and saying nothing can get you blasted too.
Still, that remains all I have to say.
